Legal-work software

Practical software tools for people representing themselves.

Blue Collar Briefs is the legal-software division of All The Best Ways LLC. We develop user-friendly software tools for people who must prepare and organize their own legal work.

The problem we are aimed at

Legal work generates a lot of paper, and the difficulty is rarely any single document. It is keeping track of how everything fits together — especially when you are doing it alone.

Scattered documents

The same material in several places, in several formats, with no clear sense of which copy is current.

Finding a date or a source

Knowing something was said somewhere, and needing to locate exactly where.

Tracking revisions

Working out what changed between versions, and when.

Pulling material together

Turning a pile of records into something organised enough to work from.

What we are building

These are the areas we are working on. The software is still in development, so we describe direction rather than finished features.

In development

Document organization

Bringing material into one consistent structure so it can be worked through in a sensible order.

In development

Timelines and dates

Assembling dates and events into a sequence a person can check and correct.

In development

Source-linked work

Keeping a note tied to where it came from, so a claim can be traced back to its origin.

In development

Drafting and revisions

Keeping earlier versions visible so changes can be reviewed rather than silently lost.

In development

Preparing for review

Producing organized material that a qualified person can review, rather than a finished legal product.

None of these are available to purchase yet. They are described so you know what we are working on.

Where human review fits

  • Organised material, not conclusions.
  • A person reviews and corrects the output.
  • Sources stay visible so claims can be traced.
  • No automated legal decision-making.

If you are representing yourself

People representing themselves are sometimes called pro se, which simply means you are handling your own matter without a lawyer representing you.

That work is hard, and a lot of it is organisational rather than argumentative: keeping documents in order, knowing what happened when, and being able to find the source of something you wrote months ago. That is the part we are trying to make easier.

Our tools are built to support that effort, not to replace the advice of a licensed attorney.

Products

We are developing our first tools. We publish details only once the software is genuinely ready to deliver.

In development

Document organization tool

Our first application, aimed at gathering scattered records into one workable structure. Supported platforms, pricing, and licence terms will be published when they are final.

In development

Client and contract work

We also build to order where an organisation has a specific problem worth solving. Scope and terms are agreed in writing before any work starts.

Nothing here is for sale yet. Blue Collar Briefs has no products available for purchase at this time. There is no checkout on this site and no payment details are collected.
